Watch the online discussion on the film “Missing Fetine” with the film’s producer, director and protagonist. At a time when circumstances keep many of us apart, we come together to celebrate the beauty and undeniable power of Cypriot cinema and to bring its creators to the forefront. Mula Moat Film Days is organised by Cyprus Youth Council and Studio 21 in collaboration with NGO Support Centre and is supported by the Home for Cooperation and Famagusta Avenue Garage.
We recently took part in the newly launched podcast series of the Cyprus Parallel Parliament for Civil Society, initiated by the former President of the Cyprus Parliament, Mr. Demetris Syllouris, and the President of the Cyprus Parallel Parliament for Civil Society, Professor Constantinos Phellas.
In this episode, our staff member Eleftheria Photiou, a member of the Committee for the Operation and Development of NGOs, discusses the effects of COVID-19 on Sustainable Development Goals and the Agenda 2030 of the United Nations, the role of Global Citizenship Education (GCE) and SDG 4.7 during the recovery period as part of the work of Bridge 47 – Building Global Citizenship and how the Agenda 2030 can help us enter the new “normality”.
The podcast series was launched in May 2020, and it covers topics such as human rights, the role of institutions, NGOs, sustainable development, and the rights of elderly citizens.
The podcast episodes are available on SoundCloud and the website of the Cyprus Parliament.
