The Cyprus Red Cross Society (CRCS) is the largest humanitarian NGO in Cyprus, with over 1,500 trained volunteers and national reach. As a member of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, it specialises in emergency relief, health services, psychosocial support, and social integration. Its flagship project, the ‘Stella Soulioti’ Children’s Therapy Centre, provides multidisciplinary care for youth with severe disabilities. Operating in a socio-political context shaped by migration, economic disparities, and regional instability, CRCS addresses urgent needs through food aid, shelter, First Aid training, psychological crisis support, and youth empowerment. The organisation also offers targeted assistance to migrants and displaced populations. Internationally, CRCS contributes to post-disaster recovery, healthcare infrastructure, and humanitarian relief. Its integrated approach bridges local needs with global solidarity, upholding humanitarian principles.
