Omonia 29M operates under a model where supporters have a direct say in the club's decisions, preserving the ethos of collective ownership and democratic participation. The club emphasizes strong community ties, aiming to be more than just a football team by fostering local involvement and support.Starting from the lower tiers of Cypriot football, the club has rapidly ascended to the First Division, demonstrating a commitment to building success from the ground up.Omonia 29M's journey reflects a dedication to maintaining traditional football values, emphasizing fan involvement, and fostering a strong community spirit. As part of this commitment to social solidarity, it’s the first club in Cyprus that has established a basketball team for individuals with intellectual disabilities, providing a supportive and empowering environment for them to engage in the sport. Through structured training sessions, participation in tournaments and community – driven initiatives.
