The, the NGO Support Centre, the Youth Board of Cyprus and the Cyprus Youth Council are co-organising the annual NGO Fair on Saturday 29th of September 2018.
 
The NGO Fair is taking place as part of the Youth Festival ‘Up to You(th)’ organised for the fourth consecutive year by the Youth Board of Cyprus, at Acropolis Park in Nicosia. The Fair will feature 70 NGOs that will inform visitors about their work, projects and opportunities they offer in Cyprus and abroad. The Youth Festival is targeting the general public and its main actors are young people themselves. Visitors will have the opportunity to enhance their knowledge and skills, while simultaneously participate in a number of fun activities for all ages.

The Festival will feature the following activities:

  • music from BlackOut band
  • cosplayers and Cypriot game developers by Cyprus Comi Con 
  • discussion with human ‘books’ from the Human Library 
  • discussion with the role models of the project ‘Life Stories’ 
  • open discussions and workshops 
  • live science experiments by SciCΟ
  • short film screenings by GeekOtopos
  • Tech Fair by Frederick University
  • robots from the Cyprus Computer Society
  • basketball jam by PeacePlayers
  • poetry sessions

At the festival there will be a Kids Corner offering activities for young children.
