18 Nov Global Education: Shaping the Citizens of the Future
From 14-20 November 2022, we celebrate Global Education Week, a time to come together and rethink our world, using Global Education as a tool for solidarity and change, and understand how it can contribute to a more sustainable, peaceful and equitable world.
In the context of Global Education Week, The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport in collaboration with CARDET and the NGO Support Centre organised a webinar for teachers and educators on Global Education on 15 November 2022. Over the course of the webinar, representatives of the Ministry and representatives of Civil Society Organisations presented the key concepts and principles of Global Education, the role of Civil Society, as well as good practices and tools that teachers can apply to engage and educate their students. The webinar also aimed to encourage educators to collaborate with CSOs and pursue synergies and joint actions for promoting Global Education.
The webinar was live-streamed on the NGO Support Centre Facebook page (in Greek).
